I am sure many of you have had the honor of a frantic day at work and out running errands to come home and want nothing more than to be able to unwind in a soothing bath. Doing nothing but staring into space and relaxing, until the sight of something in the bathroom starts your mind spinning again, whether it is that your husband left the toilet seat up again, that the room is dirtier than you last remember it, or that the bathroom vanity looks completely out of touch with the rest of the room. A vanity that is unsuitable for the room can wreck havoc on the tranquil atmosphere that is most often trying to be achieved. This is why choosing the right vanity is a must for one to achieve the perfect feel in the bathroom.
Choosing the right vanity isn’t as hard as it is assumed to be. While yes there are thousands of different options out there, there will always be one that is perfect for each individual. There are a variety of styles ranging from antique to modern bathroom vanities and simple to edgy. They can be found in a variety of sizes and made out of an assortment of materials. The same boring old counter top does not have to be kept either. Sinks can rest within the counter top or be set on top to make a rather bold statement.
The point is that no person in their right mind has to settle for something that they do not like. With all of the options available, if something spectacular could not be found to suit ones needs, bathroom sinks and vanities could just as well be customized.
The bathroom vanity should be everything you ever wanted. It should fit exquisitely in your bathroom and add to the atmosphere. The vanity should be a part of you, ok well not literally, but it should be a part of who you are. It should reflect your personality, character, and likes and dislikes.
Now I want all of you to go out there and make a decision: Does the vanity create an incredible atmosphere or do I need to dump it and go on an adventure?

While out and about, enjoying time with close friends, the bathroom vanity may not be at the top of your conversation list but it just may need to be after what I have recently seen.

This past weekend I was at a get together that one of my close friends was hosting. After a couple of beverages I felt the need to seek out the restroom. When I got there, I didn’t notice at first, but on my way out the vanity caught my eye. And when I say “caught my eye” I don’t mean it in a good way. There bathroom vanity was one of the most dilapidated and horrible vanities I have ever seen. The white counter top was covered in toothpaste and looked like it had been stained with something. The handles to the cabinets were falling off. The legs were all chewed up, which I suspect was due to their adorable teething puppy. This vanity was in such bad condition that it was hard to look at. I wish I would have taken a picture to show you exactly what I am talking about.
I love my friends but I do not see how someone can just let their bath vanity turn into a pile of garbage.
