Is your bathroom a cell, or an escape?

Is this relaxing, or is this paying a visit to the local newsstand?

Bathrooms aren’t typically thought of as places to just “get away,” which is unfortunate, because where else in your home do you get so much privacy? Turning on the television in your living room isn’t really an escape, because you are still surrounded by distractions. Reading in bed isn’t really an escape, because your spouse is probably right there with you, and can pull your attention away from your book at any moment.
