Palatka Daily News offers up a helpful article on an important topic that doesn’t get a lot of press: how can we make homes safer for people who are “aging in place?” Bathrooms can be especially dangerous for the elderly. This article talks about the problems facing our elders and how we can make those problems disappear, or at least mitigate them. From replacing your old faucets to securing your bathroom environment, there are many things you can do to ensure your home is safe and welcoming to people of all ages.
